See the picture to the left, this is an
ideal method of stacking
construction debris, it is separated into types of debris
which reduces labor and increases ability to properly recycle the
debris, both of these factors will save you money. Other cost
saving steps are:
- keep the pile of construction debris dry, a pile of wet
drywall will cause debris to get into your grass and can cause
stains.
- Use buckets for smaller amounts of broken tile or plaster.
- Lay down a sheet of plywood to keep debris from working it's
way into the grass or dirt.
- Call your local construction debris removal service before
the pile is too big, several smaller loads may cost less than a
large unmanageable pile of construction debris.
- Do not stack the pile of construction debris in a
inaccessible place, this is the most common mistake that will
cost you more money.
